Why is the “pending” status up for so long?As you may be aware, the technology that enables Ovis to operate is called a tokenized curated registry, or TCR. Those tokens exist on the blockchain and every interaction on the Ovis platform that requires tokenization (or an interaction with the blockchain) is dependent on the basic fundamentals of how the blockchain operates. The speed of blockchain transactions is related to the fact that records (known as blocks) in the chain are limited in size and frequency. The on-chain transaction processing time of any given blockchain network also depends on many potential factors. It may have to do with capacity, network congestion, block propagation, or several other elements. The simple answer is, it’s all part of how blockchain works.
